When should I start looking for my dress?

We recommend you get your thought process flowing and start with a Pinterest Board and tearing out magazine pictures as soon as he pops the question. Then bring your ideas to us 4 to 6 months before your wedding. Keep in mind alterations may be needed and that takes extra time.

How do I make an appointment?

What do I bring to my appointment?

Ideas, a price range, nude undergarments and shoes you plan to wear- high heel/no heel...if you do forget anything, we've got you covered!

How long will my appointment take?

1.5 hours. We want to give you enough time to try on as many gowns as you want, but not overwhelm you either.

Who can come to my appointment?

Bring your most trusted family and friends. Many have opinions but the decision is ultimately yours. We want you to have a fun experience and be comfortable with everyone in the shop.

Are children allowed to attend my appointment?

Yes! While we highly recommend not bringing your children, we completely understand sometimes needing to bring them along. That's why we set up a kids area with a little art station and book ten to keep them busy while you find the gown of your dreams.

What is your price range of gowns?

$900 to $4,500. We've got quite the variety from destination and free-spirited gowns, to romantic ballgowns.

What sizes do you have to try on?

8-20. Remember that your street size will be 2 sizes larger in a wedding dress. You normally wear a 10? You'll try on 12 or higher and we will clip you up to get the best idea.

What about alterations?

We have the best seamstress in Leelanau County ready to help your dress fit you perfectly! She does not work at the shop, but we can easily put you in contact with her.

What is the return or exchange policy?

No refunds or exchanges. We understand things happen- cancelled wedding, pregnancy, etc however once you buy, the gown is yours.

What do I do after my appointment?

Hopefully you have found the dress so you can celebrate and check it off your long to-do list! If not, really think about the dresses you loved and make another appointment to try them on and narrow it down.
